Hey there! I’m Brett, a music composer, vocalist, & hornist in Chicago, IL.

With an extensive liberal arts education from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, I studied composition with Dr. Ben Blasko and performed with the university’s Concert Choir, Gospel Choir, Studio Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble, and participated in projects for artists Cody Fry, Tommee Profitt, and Andrea Bocelli. I graduated with a B.S. in Web Development with a Marketing concentration, and a Music Minor.
I continued an active musical involvement in Nashville, collaborating on more film scoring projects as a composer, recording engineer, and studio musician; joining ensembles like Lipscomb’s Chamber Singers, the Green Hills Wind Symphony (Nashville Wind Symphony), the Brentwood Baptist Worship Orchestra, and the professional chamber choir SONUS.
Additional collaborative projects in Nashville include multiple recording sessions with SONUS choir, massive symphonic performances with the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra Community Chorus, and a series of praise orchestra concerts in Germany with Global Missions Project.
After a wealth of enriching musical experiences in my hometown of Nashville, I now reside in Chicago, where I’ve continued to create, collaborate, and appreciate music and the arts.
My diverse body of work has earned several awards, been published by T.U.X. People’s Music, and reached sold-out audiences in the thousands.
I continue to actively compose music and perform as a hornist and vocalist in Chicago, and I recently released a new EP “Parallels”.
